After all the stress about finding a room and a place to sleep until then, I decided it was time to relax a bit.
Fabian's (the couch) sister (Andrea) took me out partying last night. Now Andreas boyfriend is Columbian, and so are all their friends.
I had to go all the way to Italy to dig up my old 6th grad Spanish.
First off the bat, we headed to a Turkish Kebab place to solidify our stomachs for the night.
The Italien Kebab vendors actually get their meat from a butchery in Germany... go figure.
Afterwards we headed to the city center, to a bar near the Piazza Vittorio Venetto, the biggest square in Turin. It was close to midnight and we caught the end of Happy Hour: 0,4l of beer 2,50?, 1l of beer 5?. The liters were actually served in Bavarian style beer glasses like on the Oktoberfest... a remnant of home...
After that we headed down to the river Po. On the rivers docks every week end a clubbing lane is put up. Under the street above are these old warehouses and they are convertet to clubs, one beside the other. Mostly with tents in front, so more people can fit in.
We danced until 3 in the morning to Latin-Electro Music (i didn't even know there was such before).
Some of the others needed something in their stomach so me headed to an all night Pizza and Beer joint down the street on Via Po. At that point I was basically half asleep.
I'm getting too old for this shit!
At 4 we caught the night bus back to the appartment. I was never so thankful to just sink down on an air matrasse.
And what did I learn from this: i had to go to Italy to have a Turkisch Kebab with some Columbians ;-D
